About CHAProjects

CHAProjects is the culmination of months of design and development effort by the engineers, scientists and developers at Clough Harbour & Associates LLP (CHA). The Technology Solutions Group is comprised of highly skilled computer professionals well versed in analyzing business needs and providing technical solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. What began as a discussion between engineers and developers on how to improve upon communication and file sharing between project team members quickly became an application development project for the benefit of clients and subconsultants alike.

Project Management Experience Led to Efficient PM Solution

CHA engineers were all too familiar with the process of sharing files with the client and the various subconsultants on a project. There were a number of project-related emails going out, some with sizable files attached, and for the most part there was little coordination of these digital communication efforts.

CHAProjects changed all that. Incorporating technology in an effort to increase efficiency and decrease overall project costs, CHAprojects offers project team members integrated project and workflow management in a web-based environment.

Powerful Project Management Tool

This real-time repository of data and files related to specific projects efficiently categorizes a variety of project files, including: CAD files; Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Access files; and digital photos.

With the creation of CHAProjects, CHA engineers are able to offer a tool allowing clients to more easily communicate with project managers, engineers, contractors, designers, architects and other project team members. Incorporating convenient email functionality, CHAProjects is capable of notifying specific team members when a file or design is created or revised, greatly decreasing the turnaround time on important design decisions.

Since CHAProjects is a custom application created by the Technology Solutions Group, our developers can readily customize it to fit the specific needs of individual clients. Most recently, CHAProjects project collaboration websites have been utilized on pharmaceutical, industrial, and construction projects, serving both private and municipal clients.
